3 Months down. I know many of you have been stuck on trainers and treadmills, but let's see the logs. Whatever data you've got. Sort of a "quarterly earnings statement," if you will :P

Anyways, I'll begin.

Swim:

  • 1160 minutes (19:20)

  • 52,600 meters

(pool closed 1 month ago)

Bike:

  • 3262 minutes (54:22)

  • 919.5 miles
  • 16.91 mph overall average speed
  • 180.3 W overall average power
  • 51,930 ft of climbing (from Garmin)
  • 31,498 kJ of work (from PowerTap)

Run:

  • 1384 minutes (23:04)

  • 176.8 miles
  • 7:49 overall average pace

Other:

  • 230 minutes of lifting, core, etc.

Grand total of 100 hours, 35 minutes
I was hoping for 1000 miles of riding. Guess I need to step it up a bit for the spring :)

Mine isn't nearly as impressive...had some difficulty with consistency in the cold months. Plus, there was a lull period after my Jan. 13 marathon. but here goes anyways...

Swim
490 minutes (8h10min)
9.3 miles covered (~14,965 meters)

Bike
1163 minutes (19h23min)
333.4miles (17.2mph avg)
Don't have power or altitude info

Run
1105 minutes (18h25min)
130.76miles (7.1mph avg)
8:27/mile pace

Other
258 minutes of lifting/core/etc...

Total: 50h16min

Not the volume I'd hoped for, but it's been increasing recently, so all's well

Socket, you might want to work on increasing your weightlifting pace. You're not covering nearly enough distance in the weight room

Reading your blog puts your numbers in perspective: These are sub-10 IM numbers. Sweet. Now I don't feel like I have to quite my job to get my numbers up for a 13hr IM finish.

I did not track mileage or time for my off-season this year.
Followed a good off-season training plan - but just wanted to be free of recording every aspect. Kind of liberating.

3 weeks ago I started my IM training - and of course recording everything.

So for the last 3 weeks my totals are:

Swim: 20,950yds (Mostly drills)

Bike: 352.25 (All trainer)

Run: 82.09 (Lots of strides and LR pace - tho as a part of the O/S work I ran a HM and bested my old PR by over 11 minutes)

So is it just a coincidence that this thread started on April Fools? I'm just going to assume that everyone's numbers are fake, and I'm not as much of a slacker as I thought.

For the first quarter of a season of firsts, here are my totals:
swim: 24,550 yds
bike: 723.71 mi, not including 17 hr 27 min on my trainer (have to get used to this winter thing)
run: 296.55 mi

Total Time: 113 hrs 39 min

Things to be proud of:
first marathon finish
first triathlon finish
it doesn't quite feel like a wrestling match every time I get out of the pool

for the first time, I'm training with a plan, and it's taking me places I never thought I would go .....
can only wait to see what another 3 months of training will bring!

Swim
- 58,254 m
- 21:21

Bike
- 1,030 mi (including a lot of trainer rides)
- 51:55

Run
- 231 mi
- 30:03

Also completed my first race of the season (Lonestar Half-IM in Galveston) this past Sunday and set a new PR (though that wasn't too tough given this was only my second Half).

Since January 12...
Swim: 26:25; 91950 yards
Bike: 33:10; mostly indoors but incl. 96 road miles
Run: 25:17; incl. indoor track (time-based runs) but also 157.5 road miles
Other: (stretch, bosu, weights, core): 28:35

Skewed towards swimming because of re-starting running in November after 9 months off and a broken foot (motorcycle-related) and a "long" run in late November of 27 minutes. Now that my various limbs are back to normal and the weather and daylight are better, I'll push the biking (especially) and running a bit more.

I feel compelled to add my stuff up now....
Looking at everyone's posts, I now know why I feel under prepared for the bike. Bike is my lowest number of hours of the 3.

I'm only doing olympic/international distance as my longest races of this year, so I should be ok.
This post sure wakes me up to what I need to do if I plan to do Half iron next year.

I'll get my numbers up later.
