What's everybody up to today? I am waiting for kick off while finishing a late lunch. I did 17 hilly miles this morning with my training group. 14* and sunny...Great run!

wow.... i feel like a loser :)

only got out a fast 3 miles today over a hilly area.... a little less than 20 mins.... Personally babying abit of a sore left ankle that seems to spur up around the 5 mile point of every run these days.

Around 30 degrees here in NC.....

Don't forget...distance running is my primary sport. I have a half thon in February and then Boston in April. I am working with a great tri coach! She is helping me build my cycling and swimming base while at the same time preparing for my distance running races. I am new to the triathlon. My first duathlon is in June and my first (sprint) tri is in July. :p

tried out my customized drink blend from infinitNutrition, worked great! ( i have no affiliation with them btw ). came back from the ride fairly fresh.

tomorrow is orienteering in San Ramon! for you bay area folks, check out baoc.org

I just got back from an amazing trip to Texas. Ive really cut back my training the last 2 weeks and i feel refreshed and im ready to jump back into the swing of things again. Although its like zero degrees here right now, ill still get a long run in tomorrow.

Hey scout, good on yer, mate!
Fer gawd's sake don't apologize for running 17 miles on any Saturday morning!
:)
I for one am just envious, and inspired.
That's why I like to hear about OP's training. It inspires me.
As for me, I swam 1750 metres today and did 70 minutes on the trainer at 122bpm.

Your cylcing and swimming inspire ME! I'll run this morning and then head to the pool. I just started swimming again last week...I'm still developing my breathing technique! I guess that means I'll be having pool water again for lunch :D
As for cycling, I got my first entry level road bike last summer (Giant OCR 2). The weather here is miserable, so I have been on my indoor trainer (since Santa brought it last month). I usually use the Spinerval workouts...
