#1022 -- starts at 7:03, 7:07, or 7:10 and will probably be done in about 4:30ish.

I think I'm going to squeeze one last shakedown ride and short run in the morning, then I'm driving down from Monterey.
I'll be there in the 7:13 group as well in the super-manly pink caps. That gives me a nice easy to remember target time of 1pm.
Should be a really fun race!

Hello from Oceanside to all you racers, the weather is perfect,slight overcast will burn off by 1pm ,, light wind , water low 60s, , is a swell coming in but that wont bother you, good luck good racing and have fun

I'm there now, but I couldn't find the expo or packet pickup or anything! I went to the transition area and everything, but no sign of the "ironman village" or anything. grr. Anyone know?
edit: I think I figured it out, but a tip for anyone still on their way - the packet pickup and expo and whatnot are not in the same place as the transition area. All the rigmarole is on the strand, not at the transition area...

I will be starting at 7:13 hoping to finish in around 6 hours, but it all depends on the weather (mostly that headwind I have heard so much about on the way back).
