I just got my graduation gift from my parents, and they gave me a set of Zipp 808's for IM AZ. My wife bought me a Zipp disc wheel a few months ago. I was totally floored. They even made travel plans to watch me in Tempe. Life is good. I hope I don't look like an idiot when I have these really nice wheels and I'm going 20mph or below.

Are your parents interested in adopting a full grown man? I'm successful which will allow for immediate bragging. It seems like a good deal for all involved. :)

Thanks for the congratulations. I'll be sure to ask my parents if they want any more "kids." 3 more weeks to go! I'm getting to the point of feeling a little run down, but I just finished a 6 hr ride yesterday and I'm supposed to run 20 today. We'll see how that goes.

I'll be sure to post pics when I get my tires and cassette put on.

I don't know how fast you are, but I agree: I don't want to look like a tool on $2,000 wheels averaging high-teens at IM.

I told myself that I won't consider buying a tri bike until I can average 20+ mph on my current bike in an olympic tri. I consider it more of a modivation thing than not wanting to look like a tool.

Congratz on the gift and graduation!
