IMC 2008 accomodations
Toni,
I hope things are going well with the training. If you don't get a place with a hot tub, a post race dip in Skaha lake will do just fine. We already reserved our place last year.
Not planning to go, but just wanted to say I'm excited for you!! :) Good to see you around the forum.

I'd love to visit. I'll bring beer.
But as I live just up the road, I think my accommodations are set.
Looking forward to a good party - before, after, during..
:D

Hi Toni,
This may be too late, but I am looking for accommodation for myself, the hubby and my mother-in-law (closer to the race). Right now we are reserved to camp at an RV park with our camping van although my husband's worried that if it gets hot, we'll have a hard time sleeping without air conditioning. Let me know if you are still looking.

Hi all -
This is a message for anyone who is going to IM Canada this year. I'm currently working on acquiring accomodations. There are still quite a few options out there for houses. I was wondering if anyone from Trifuel, who is racing or cheering and does not already have somewhere to stay, would be interested in joining me and a few others for the week or part of the week of IMC.
I'm planning on being there from 8/20 - 8/26 to chill out and focus on the race. I would really like to find a house and enough people to stay in it to get the price down to $40/night/person or less (preferably less).
Anyhow, there are two houses available right now. One for $2000 for the week without a hot tub and one for $1700 for the week WITH a hot tub (very important for after the race).
Let me know if you're interested.
Happy training!
Toni
