So, I'm looking for some new podcasts. I've been inspired by a post in another thread, but didn't want to hijack. I think I've posted about triathlon podcasts before, but this time I'm looking for any kind of podcasts. I personally listen to the following:

Tri-related:
JBST SmartCast (Best IMO, but they haven't posted a new one in a few weeks)
Fredcast (Great cycling podcast, especially if you like professional cycling)
TriTalk (I'm sure you've all heard of this one, but it's one of the best)
TacBoy n' Bigun (Really entertaining, and sometimes they even give Tri information)

Other:
Infendo Radio (Nintendo podcast, and one of the funniest I've heard)
Extralife Radio (Movies/TV/Video Games/etc.)
Strong Bad Email (self explanatory)
Best of YouTube (some really hilarious youtube videos)

Here are some others that I listen to, but they're not my absolute favorites:
SimplyStu (Tri stuff)
Get Your Geek On (Tri stuff)
The Spokesmen Cycling Roundtable (ummm......it's a cycling roundtable)

So, let's hear what everyone's listening to. And I want to hear all of them, even if they're embarrassing (My Little PonyCast?).

Here is a good one.

100th Episode for IronmanTalk Podcast

A milestone will be reached in the triathlon podcast (a radio show or other audio program available for download over the internet) field. IronmanTalk, the podcast hosted by a pair of kiwi’s John Newsom and Bevan Eyles has reached 100 episodes, just shy of their 2nd Anniversary. If you haven’t heard about the podcast or them, make sure to download an episode and listen to it because you’re missing out on a great and fun triathlon resource that is FREE!

I'm glad I clicked on this thread, it never even occured to me to look for tri related casts. I will definately check some of these out. For what it's worth:

Skeptics Guide to the Universe
On the Media
This American Life
Scientific American

i like Radiolab (wnyc); they always have something interesting

tritalk is ok; he tends to spout numbers a lot and i end up not paying attention when he does.

i listened to the one with the pair of aussie athletes, but honestly, while the content was ok, it sounded like they were hopped up on speed...way too fast, it made my heart flutter like i was drinking coffee.

i'm going to try the ones mentioned above for some variety; i admit i haven't really searched around for these much

good thread!

The one you're talking about with the Aussies is IronmanTalk, and they're actually from New Zealand. I agree on that one though, they're a little too excited for me, and they don't really give any news/info that I'm interested in.

Thanks again for all the replies. Looks like I'll have plenty to listen to for a while. Keep them coming.
