I have a 2007 Trek 2100 road bike and am trying to set it up for tris.

There are quite a lot of aerobar selections out there. Any advice on how to select some clip-on bars?

Thanks!

My best advice would be to go to your LBS and take a few and see how they feel in your hands. Depending on the bike shop and how much of a selection they have, you should be able to get an ok idea about what style is most comfortable. I would buy the pair you think is most comfortable because if they are not comfortable, you are not going to stay in them for very long so there would be no benefit no matter how aerodynamic they are.

don't get one piece setups
get the kind that are adjustable fore/aft and side to side

the most popular of the reviewed ones on this site seems to be the profile design t2+

Before picking up my new bike, I trained on and competed with my Trek 2100 with the profile T2+ aero bars on it. Its a personal preference, but I thought the S-bends were more comfortable. Iron Dan is right though, try a few different kinds at your LBS then see if you can find them on Ebay. Profile T2+ at LBS-$85.00/ found on Ebay-$54.00 (new in box).
