all of a sudden, the member map (which i love by the way o illustrious web guys/gals) is malfunctioning (or i am)......

when I zoom into florida and click on the tab of a member to see who it is.....all of a sudden I am zoomed in 40 more time in namibia or something.....and when I can zoom out i see that the tab was indeed selected but having to route through africa all the time is annoying.....is there a setting on this computer that is wrong or is it the site

Google maps has been super slow lately, especially on the zoom. Sometimes I'll zoom a few times, and move around all over the place before I realize that it didn't zoom at all. I'm assuming it's a problem with google maps more than with this site. And I'm almost positive it has nothing to do with your computer.

BTW, I just tried it, and that is totally weird. It put me somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean when I clicked on a member in Florida. I haven't seen anything that drastic with google maps before, but at least now you know for sure that it's not your computer.

Thats pretty trippy. Its also a different location depending on who you click. Its definitely not just your computer.

Trying to track it down. I think I know why it's happening (something to do with clustering), now trying to find a fix...

Well now I don't know. Found a couple others that have had the same problem start yesterday so think maybe it's something Google changed or hopefully a temporary glitch on their end with the API stuff.
