Spring Break Plans
Ah, only a year ago I actually had a spring break. I will be working full time while my fiancee rubs her time off in my face. Man I am already bitter
My blog: http://jsktri.blogspot.com
I'm going to Laughlin with my family for 4 days then heading to Chicago for an Air Force conference thing. Sadly my training will be suffering during this but should be fun none the less.

Studying for my doctoral qualifying exams, which start March 17th. Boo! Oh, and tapering for my mary.

i was in gainesville last week. wonderful town. go gators.
I am skiing for a week in Big Sky.

Because sooner or later the man that wins
Is the man that thinks he can.
I'm going to the unemployment office to collect money to pay for my new bike. Then ride in and around Chicago. No more work for me for a while. I'm thinking until just after the summer tri season, or the 70.3 worlds if I qualify...
Aaaah, to be in college again. I never had so much free time in my life. Good times.
With a job and four young kids at home, I'll be happy to get a couple workouts in during the week. Just like every other week. :)
Spring break? What's spring break?
Curse all students and teachers for rubbing it in to the rest of us slaving in cubicles. :-)
"It's very hard in the beginning to understand that the whole idea is not to beat the other runners. Eventually you learn that the competition is against the little voice inside you that wants you to quit." ~George Sheehan
I don't get spring break---that was 20 years ago (I dont think I actually went anywhere then though, usually I was studying or working on a paper since we were on semesters) :(. I did however spend time at our place in Belize in December and Florida in January.
There ARE advantages to being in the working world so fear not "cubical slaving worker bees" .

I'm going to a Pan Am Cup race in the Caribbean (St. Kitts and Nevis). That way I don't have to feel bad about skipping my last spring break of college to be a tri-geek. The start list less than 10-deep for the guys right now, but two very fast Mexicanos just signed up. There are at least two Americans who I know are going to beat me. There ARE two juniors from Spain and Barbados that I might actually beat, though! Hopefully I don't get DFL :)
What are y'all doing?
