i haven't rented a road or tri bike here, but
places to call would be:

I am pretty sure none of the shops above rent bikes, anything preventing you from shipping the bike?

of course i could bring my own bike, but beside the extra cost, what should i do with it during my three week-vacation ? i know there are lots of cycling possibilities in oregon, but my wife doesn't cycle, so that is out. i hope i will find some kind of bike at a rental store

I THINK River City Bikes rents. I actually bought from them, If they don't then they will know who will. They were really helpful when I went in to purchase.

Dear friends !
I will be on vacation in Oregon in June of this year. I am planning to participate in the BLUE LAKE Olympic distance TRIATHLON. (see: http://racecenter.com/bluelake/index.htm ). Does anyone know a recomended shop where I can rent a race bike ?
