Sorry everyone for the repetitive posting, I just searched for this topic and found a bunch of the same questions/answers...would still love your opinion. Thanks!

I've got an older tacx imagic which does measure HR and power for you. you can do simulated rides or develop workouts using HR or power criteria. it's kinda like a computrainer I had some bugs with the program and got little help from tacx but eventually worked it out and really enjoy it.

I have a powertap, but I LOVE having power for all my training.

Hi All -
Currently, I have Computrainer, but am thinking about selling it to get a "discounted" SRM and perhaps a TACX for indoor training. This way I can get power readings indoors and out. Anyone have experience w/ the TACX trainers (like the Flow)? What's your opinion on SRM and other power measurement devices?
I'm training for my first IM and wondering if I'll need a power meter for the race (and training). Not sure HR only was a good measurement.
Thanks!
Joe
