I was recently trying to register for a race on Active.com and as we all have experienced.......it's a pain in the A@#. I thought you all would get a kick out of this though. I attempted to register on 2/5/08, sent them an email for support, and just now got the following response:

Our Customer Support department is experiencing an extremely high volume of incoming emails at this time. As a result, we have not been able to respond with our desired level of service (24-48 hours). We sincerely apologize for this delay.

Wow....nice of them to apologize 20 days later!

I know it makes it easier for the RD's, but I miss the days of just sending a check. At least back then my "processing fee" was only $0.37.

First of all, I don't have to love active.com. They are the devil. The following 2 threads communicate my anger fairly well. I think I'm going to move to registration by mail for events that aren't going to fill up quickly (like in 10 minutes).
