Ok... so it's not my race, but I did a write-up of the g/f in a sprint tri with lots of pictures. This was a short, reverse sprint-tri in Irvine... A bit home-grown, and not the greatest course; but, as you will see, she had a great time in her first Tri, and I had a great time taking pictures.

The bike course was a bit funky, and basically had four "finger" loops that all converged in one center area.... imagine a clover.... Out going west, out south, back north, turn west again, out west, back east, turn north, back north, turn east, repeat 3 times...

The swim was in the pool, which she said was pretty dirty from people dropping crap in there like gels, race belts (wtf?) and other junk...
