Ironman is a test of will and grace
Good article. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting article, David. Thanks for the link.
still confused- thought this had to do with the sitcom from NBC :)
HA! - yes, perhaps it's a spin off. Will and Grace - Ironman edition

I can attest that David has the community in mind. He writes for the Orange County Register (That's Orange County, California).... My parents get the paper, and right after I check the Hockey stuff, I turn to the back of the sports section to read David's articles.
He focuses on local events and athletes, and has been a blessing to the "active" community here in Southern California. Write-ups on local Marathons, 5k's, etc, as well as the stories of challenged athletes, and those up-and-coming people from our community. David is also himself a member of the community, and I know he has done many endurance events, though I am not sure exactly which ones/distances off-hand.
He's also become the face of Orange County multi/endurance sports on local Television programs...
I'm glad that David has come to share his stuff here... it would be great to see some collaboration between this community and David, and to get more people from California involved with Trifuel...

Good line, mind if I quote you?

Ah, it would be an honor to be quoted. Thanks for all the kind words of support. I am humbled. For the record, my last tri was the Pacific Coast Triathlon in September. My last Ironman was Arizona in 2007, placing 17th in my age group. 12:03.
Welcome to the community :)
Thanks for the link. It is a very nice read.

Competing in Ironman is a test of endurance, fortitude and grace – meaning everything and nothing. As Ironman Arizona approaches, here is one man's journey I wanted to share:
