Right, after a long lay off I am back in the saddle/road and soon the water.

Currently I am using a Aluminum roadie with bars, but my heart is set on replacing my Stolen P2-SL with a carbon framed bike.

Looking at the Kuota K-Factor SL and the Cervelo P2C, I would really appreciate some feedback from riders of these bikes or bikes in that price category.

Comfort
Setting Up etc.

I am 5" 6' and plenty blubber :-(, so any bike will be abused.

cheers everybody

I have purchased my Cervelo P2C also right after my bike was stolen ( a brandnew Scott Plasma, ouch). Since, I have raced one season including two Half IMs with it and can't any faults whatsoever. I was committed to getting myself onto a carbon bike but also holding the line on the budget; I ended up paying 2700 for mine wth Ultegra components. The only upgrade I am now considering is getting some better wheels. Can't say anyting about the K-Factor, but just for sheer design, the P2C rocks.

+1 on the P2C. I got mine in Jan and its totally awesome. I imagine the K factor is a quality ride as well. I'd reccomend seeing/riding each in person to see which fits better.

blavelle, is there a Cervelo dealer near East Stroudsburg? The dealer, near Philly, where I purchased myP2SL dropped Cervelo. Not that I am in the market to buy a new bike, just curious.

Any particular reason you are set on those two?

I bought a new bike in September, but as part of my research, I looked around for brands not currently ridden by the top athletes, figuring that there would be some cost savings. Jamis, for example, is a quality brand, that just started offering tri bikes. My local shop sells a lot of that brand with most customers very happy. I did not select the Jamis because I had already selected something else. I will elaborate if you wish, but I was just curious why Cervelo and Kuota only.

Well I had a P2-SL and wanted a carbon frame, did a little more research and came across the kuota. Cheers for the Jamis tip I will check them out.
