Running Store in Ann Arbor?
I no longer live in Ann Arbor but grew up there for 18 years. During my time running CC and Track I always went to Tortoise and Hare (http://www.tortoiseandhare.com/) for all my running needs. They have two locations, one downtown and the other a little outside of town on the north side. I preferred the downtown location but both are really good and probably the best running resource in Ann Arbor. Good luck to your sister and let us know what she thinks of the store.
There are a couple of good stores in ann arbor: 1) tortoise and hare http://www.tortoiseandhare.com/ and 2) running fit http://www.runningfit.net/ i have only been into T&H and they have been very nice.
If she is having problems that the running stores are unable to diagnose there is a free running clinic on Wednesdays. Off of the top of my head i cannot remember the name, but the stores should know about it. They have PTs, running specialists, podiatrists, etc. there and i have heard good things.
Make the 40min trek to Royal Oak and hit Hansons. http://www.hansons-running.com/ Then come for a run with me since its 2 blocks from my house. They know their stuff, one of thier guys even made the olympic team.

My sister goes to school up in Michigan (Ann Arbor) and is having some shoe related running problems. Can anyone from that area recommend a good store to go to get properly fit for a new pair of running shoes? Based on the problem she's having, it appears that last place didn't do such a good a job. Thanks.
