I've already have my hands full then..I know the course however...Good luck! It's very similar to the Zofingen course which I have been on (although not racing.) The course in New Paltz,in fact the whole area is beautiful...I climbed there for years...
New Paltz is a college town and has some of the usual chain hotels...good camp sites in the area too.

just signed up yesterday for the short course. from what I hear it's a nasty little race hopefully I survive I 'll be in for the long course next year
and a ? for the AZ veterans - know any good places to stay in New Platz NY?
