first run of 05. half maraton distance. the rain was comming down hard. started fast. until mile three controled my hr. i reached the turn aorund in good shape. i meet a running budy at mile seven and run together for one mile. the rain hit even harder. finish my run faster than my personal record. only my heart and soul can prove it.

I envy you, my achilles is acting up. I rode an hour on the bike trainer though @ 118bpm. Same as yesterday.

Congrats on the PR!!! I did a 15 mile run between thunderstorms. I ran the last mile like a gazelle on the African plain escaping the pursuing cheetah. No, actually the sun set and I didn't have my reflective gear on and I was trying to avoid being hit by a car. It's amazing what oncoming headlights can do for your pace!

45 minutes of core and balance work combined with some plyometrics.
Wow, what a workout. All new exercises working some different muscle groups.
