I have a brand new, never mounted, black ISM Adamo road saddle that I am looking to trade for the racing version of the same saddle. It's ok if it is used, and I know the racing saddle costs more so I would be willing to throw in a little cash to make the swap happen. No color preference on the racing saddle.

I know this is a bit off topic for your post but how does that saddle ride? I know the theory behind it but it still looks so wide, what's your Q factor like?

I ride it ride up on the nose. I haven't ever had my Q factor measured, but I couldn't tell that it changed. The saddle is definitely wider than a "normal" one, but it doesn't run between my legs like a normal saddle, so the extra width doesn't change my pedal stroke.

Q factor is a measurment of a "virtual" width between you feet on a bike. I say virtual only because it is measured through the air, not like a defined length along a tube on a bike. Smaller Q factors are regarded as better because of improved aerodynamics (decreased frontal area), and some people need certain ranges of Q factors because of knee issues or whatever. It can be influenced by rider position, crank arms, pedals/cleats, bottom bracket, and saddle.

Hope that clears the water somewhat.
