I'm hoping somebody can give me some advice here! I need to purchase a new pair of road shoes - currently I'm in a cheap pair of Pearl Izumis that I bought when I bought my bike about a year ago - and since I was spending so much $$ at the time, I cheaped out on the shoes. Now it's time for a new pair because these are completely falling apart and giving me problems.

So, here is my dilemma. I have small feet. My Pearl Izumis are size 36 and fit perfectly. I ordered a pair of the Sidi Genius in size 36 but they're slightly too tight. I tried on a pair of Sidi size 37 and they are too big. I don't think they make 36.5 - their half sizes start at 37. That's one problem. The other is, it's hard to be able to try on the shoes at the store when most stores don't carry small sizes so I'm stuck trying to order a pair.

Does anybody have any experience with different brands? How do the Diadora sizes run? I saw a pair of Diadora Women's Tailwind Road Shoes but they only start in size 37 (and what do you all think of Diadora shoes?). Anybody have any good luck with Shimano shoes? I'm looking for a quality pair that will last and are fairly stiff!
