Hola Amigos, POC reporting in, from Mexico
Enjoy your trip, I am jealous.
Hola POC, looks like a great spot. Don't forget to grab some vanilla on the way out. No more pix unless its a snowstorm please. ;)
Very nice! You always find such great vacation spots.

We hate you. Some of us secretly, some of us not. ;)

Yup, I'm with Anton - ya beach bum!
Don't get diarrhea.
Looks awesome. Enjoy the weather down there.
And yes. I agree with Anton as well.
Great, make me feel even colder now. I'm dreading going outside because right now it's -6 with a wind chill of -21.
You suck, enjoy your time there...

Thanks guys,
I am thinking of you :) as I hoist my Tecate in my hammock.

I had a great swim today.
Weather was just like in the brochures.
My lap pool is 4 feet deep 25 metres wide between the sandbars, and 22kms long!
Going out for lobster pasta and shrimp ceviche.

hasta luego amigos,
Geoff

This thread is just brutal, just seeing that picture makes me feel cold. 8-0
Oh how I wish I was there enjoying a cold beer with you.
Today it was -8 when I went to work, not sure if we made it to a high of 5 or not. The low tonight is supposed to be -15.
Enjoy it while it lasts...

Krazy - I used the first Corona pic I could find 'cos I was renting the 'puter for 5 pesos per half hour and I wanted to get back to the lagoon!
For future reference:
Air Fare return YVR to Cancun = $97 plus taxes
Room on the beach for two, per night, breakfast included = $70

Shrimp Ceviche @ Villa Mar, table on the beach, white sand between your toes = $9

icy cold Cervezas from Fausto's cold beer store = $1
Turquoise, water, 90 F, lapping at the shore = priceless
I'm taking names for next year's Trifuel winter training camp,
drop me a line if you want to come.
:D

Okay, so this is the beach outside my hotel - Las Tortugas
where I do my two km swim every morning after running 6-10k along trhe packed sand beach, then I have coffee, fruit and tostadas outside under the palm trees.
Arruived last Friday and am here for two weeks of winter tri training -
- that´s swim, run, and cervezas.
No bike, because there are no roads, no cars, only golf carts
and boats.
here´s a link to a BIG picture:
