Wheelset Question, which to choose
I have not ridden any of the mentioned wheels but I would stay away from the Spinnergy. When that model goes bad it literally explodes. If you an online search you'll find plenty of discussions about them.
As for the others I would try them udner very hard conditions when you're not racing. The worst that will happen is they will loose trueness. Definately make certain you know how to patch/replace tubulars prior to heading out on any.

I would agree with what mike101 said and also add something I just heard from a trusted local bike shop owner. He told me that the only Zipp wheels he'd ever own would be the Zipp 404's. According to him they're a pretty nice tire for racing, but he really prefers the Topolino's if you're looking to train and race on the same set of tires(very light clincher wheels). I recently purchased a set of Topolinos for my new Softride so I'll get a first hand trial of these new wheels and I'll report back with the results.
Whatever you do, make sure you're comfortable with changing the tires out before racing in them. Good luck.
Larry,
I plan on training with the Ksyriums, and racing only on the other wheels. That way, I can get that 'Flying' feeling from putting on the lighter wheels!!!
I would also practice changing tires, it's better to learn exactly what and how to change a tire in the garage, rather than on the race course.
BTW: Last year, I watched a guy hurl his rear rim deep into the woods after he had a pinch flat while doing a reinflate on the side of the course. Stupid that was, since he had to eventually go in the woods to find his wheel.

All,
I'm a Clydesdale in the 195-200 pound range. This will be my second year of Duathlons, and this year, I'm moving up to the International Distance. I'm current riding a Guru Racelite, Dura-Ace components, 180mm Crank, Profile Aerolite Bars, Look Pedals, and 700c Mavic Ksyrium Elites, love the wheels, I ride some serious steep and rough roads, and they are really bullet proof,.
One of my lighter riding friends has offered me use of one of the following sets of wheels for me this racing season:
1) Renn 575 Tubular disk, I'll use my current front. This means I'd have to carry a tube and tubless repair kit.
2) Spinergy Rev-X Carbons, Tubulars
3) Zipp 404 Tubulars, not the Clydesdale version though.
I've never ridden with Tubulars, but the chance to ride on some really fast wheels, may allow me to move up into the Top 10. And even better, if I like the wheels, he'll let them go for a really good price.
Thanks in Advance,
