looking at integrated bar combos from hed, vision, and oval. i see most triathletes on flat bars and most road cyclists racing on dropped bars. according to vision, the flat bars are comparable to riding on the hoods and the dropped bars are comparable to riding in the drops. i'm leaning towards the flat bars for climbing and descending, but is there any tri-specific advantage to the drop bars (other than looking cool)?
