Just an FYI and update: Today Stronger became the first athlete to successfully complete the www.raceAthlete.com B-Fit B-Day Challenge. She did it in just over 4.5 hours!

The to take the rA Challenge just take your age and:

1) Swim the number of miles in the first number
2) Run the number of miles in the second number
3) Bike the number of miles in the combined number

So a 45-year-old athlete would:
1) Swim 4 miles
2) Run 5 miles
3) Bike 45 miles

I want to personally invite to join us at http://www.BfitBday.com

Check out the video on youtube.com at:

The cost is absolutely free, and we have some great sponsor incentives that we'll be giving away in the next few months.

I always like the idea of a challenge.
However, what do you do if you are turning 20, 30, 40, 50,..etc?

If you follow the formula;

1) Swim the number of miles in the first number
2) Run the number of miles in the second number
3) Bike the number of miles in the combined number

A 40-year-old athlete would:

1) Swim 4 miles
2) Run 0 miles
3) Bike 40 miles

How about, if your age ends with a '0'(zero) treat it as a '10'

Now it would be

1) Swim the number of miles in the first number
2) Run the number of miles in the second number
(if ending in a '0'(zero) treat it as a '10')
3) Bike the number of miles in the combined number

So a 40-year-old athlete would:

1) Swim 4 miles
2) Run 10 miles
3) Bike 40 miles

I'll give that a go.;-)

This sounds like fun, but my birthday isn't until December! Do I have to wait?

Of course not :) Maybe start up your own challenge and recruit fellow Trifuelers to join you. Maybe an anniversary relay, or celebrate someone else's birthday with them... Never need an excuse to get out train and have fun.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. When I get back from vacation (in Italy next week!!!), I might have to throw down that gauntlet.

So, is this intended to be done on your birthday? That would actually fit really well into my training. I'll be turning 25, so that seems like the distances would be doable.

yes, but you can do it whenever as Tamara is going to tempt us with after Italy...:) Maybe an Italian theme challenge.

I'll be working on some more features in the future that will enable people to create these types of challenges within Trifuel so you can recruit fellow members without having to setup or join a new site.

Let's see...I'll turn 54 this year.
Swim 5 miles
Run 3
Bike 53
Ok...so that's the morning workout. What should I do in the afternoon?

Mix it up. Maybe run 3, bike 5, and swim 53. Be creative.

I think my 41st birthday workout is going to be much easier than if I turned 40!
