I just found a great web site that sells anything that you could use for your bike at amazingly low prices. I have been looking for new pedals for quite a while localy and just couldnt justify to myself (and my wife) to spend over $100 on pedals and $150 on shoes. I just bought today a pair of shoes and pedals for about $95 together. Even in Canadian dollars that is a great deal.

They sell high end stuff as well, but they have older models and diferent name brands that sell for more affordable prices. The web site is bikenashbar.com.
