Iron Dan, I've read that you've lost a bunch of weight and you've reached you goal weight and now you maintain.
I'm currently in weight loss mode and I'm curious if you have an opinion on these scenarios.
I would like to lose about 15 pounds.
Choice 1:
I know I can make this happen in about 2 months time. After which I could then start eating all the calories needed for workouts. Of course during these 2 months I can't expect to have "Awesome" workouts.
Choice 2:
I could drag this 15 pound weight loss plan out for another 4+ months to lose the 15 pounds and eat a bit more the whole way along. And not have as many months of "full calorie eating" before Summer race season. But the workouts might be a bit better than in "Choice 1"
Choice 3:
Not worry about the diet and the 15 pounds. Last year I lost about 10 pounds without much thought about my diet. I'm guessing that could happen again this year.
I realize you aren't a diet professional. I'm just guessing you may have experienced this type of situation and figured I'd ask your opinion.
Feel free to offer a choice 4 :-)
I'm hoping others out there might have some advice as well.
