I was wondering if anyone could provide me with feedback about either of these two cyclometers. I'm looking at the wired versions mainly because I prefer to keep things simple, and wireless is always more of a hassle to me!! I am wondering about ease of use, mounting, using them on indoor trainers, just general experience with using them. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I have the Strada Cadence and find it quite good.
Mounting on my first bike took a little bit of fiddling, but once I knew what I was doing the 2nd bike was a piece of cake. Have used on Road and Trainer and have had no problems. Have even used on training and race wheels, swapping between the 2 hasn't been an issue.
Nice big clear display and easy to use, has everything I need for racing and training..

Hi,

I have the Sigma 1606 L (the "classic", not the wireless version). It's pretty good stuff, never had any problems. I bought a rear wheel sensor for my old training bike and can use it as well for indoor riding now. The 1606 automaticaly detects on which bike it's connected so I can track the kilometers (I'm from Europe!) seperatly on each bike. I also have a cadence sensor which works very well. Mouniting in very quick and easy.
I would buy it again.

Hope this helps,

Alex

just bought a cat eye strada cadence and no problems with it. Either is a fine computer that will serve you well so I'd say go with which one looks better or is easier to see for you.

"now I only have good days and great days."
