Well, I went running last week for the first time in quite a while, probably 8 months or so. I just had my little boy right before thanksgiving and all through my pregnancy I always felt like I was out of breath and so I was very cautious about running, but I did two miles and then the next day three and then today just did two more. The thing that has suprised me the most though is that my bladder isn't what it used to be though. How long should I expect for it to feel that way? I guess more of a question for the women that have had babies and then returned to working out.

Congrats on the little one, and on getting back to running! No kids here, so no advice on that one for you.

Not actually having had one myself, I cannot say from personal experience. I can say however from friends and family ...it may not ever be the same. I know girls who had their last one 10 years ago and still cannot run with out "leakage" (ok, sorry for that no easy way to word that). Of course this may not be the case for you, maybe your dr would know?

Congrats on getting back into your training!!!

congrats on the little one!!

my wife still has some issues from birth 3 yrs later (cracked tailbone still painful, for one) but things improve all the time...she wasn't running as early as you...good for you to get outside!
