We got a new rescue Border Collie! WE've had Skye, our black and white, for about 2 years, and she's been great. A little crazy, but great. Then we was Repeat on the adoption website. After meeting him, we couldn't say no, and got him last night. He's still not a year old, so he wont be going for runs with me for a while, but that's ok, cause it gives me some quality tiem with Skye!

HOW ADORABLE! We have dog kids that are older (13 and 14) so they cannot run with me any longer, I miss that.

Wow. That's a lot of high-energy dogs in 1 picture. Pray you never get injured, or you'll have to buy those guys a couple of treadmills! Still, super cool on the rescue. Congratulations and best of luck.

Skye is super high engery. Repeat, not so much. He's young and has plenty of juice, he's just not as wired as Skye! That's a good thing! And dont go cursing me with injuries!

Our neighbor has 2 Alaskan Malamutes, and our black lab loves to play with them. Great dogs. Dog owners that run are the best. It gives the dog a sence of purpose, which dogs really want.

Awww, that's great. I still miss my running buddy - he died 10 years ago.

I couldn't bring myself to take on another potential heartbreak.

"It is better to have loved and lost..." I do dread the day Skye goes, but she'll give me many happy memories untill then.

Is that a Jack Russel? Really the only "small" dog i would consider.. but I love my Border Collies!

A cross between a Fox Terrier and a Dachshund actually. 20 lbs, smart as a whip and not a yappy dog, sweet disposition too.
