Polar S1 Foot Pod
I've been using one for about 2 years now.
Accuracy: uncalibrated, it can be anywhere from 1% to 5% off. If you run on lots of different terrain or swap it between shoes, you'll see more towards 5%, which I still think is pretty good. If you calibrate it (by running a known distance of 1 mile or more), it will be within 1-2% for those shoes and that type of surface.
Comfort: It's not small, but it is surprisingly lightweight. I don't notice it or feel any discomfort while running.
I am selling the polar RS400SD that comes with the Polar Foot Pod. Used only one time. Retails for $369.95. Would sell for $195.00. Check it out, unit comes with everything. The foot pod is not cumbersome and if calibrated correctly is quite accurate. Just have too many polar HR monitors.
Thanks everyone for the input -- I really appreciate it!

Never received. Here is my e-mail: NYTC3@aol.com

Do any of you have any experience with the Polar S1 Foot Pod? I’m thinking about getting the Polar RS200SD instead of the RS200 so I can measure speed and distance.
My main concerns are:
1) Is the S1 Foot Pod accurate?
2) Is it cumbersome or bulky?
Thanks for any insight you can provide!
