For that money, you should look at the Kurt Kinetic Road Machine. This is one of the better trainers available. You can find reviews on the net, it's pretty much the standard in trainers.

You can get them on sale at REI with the various email discounts and if you're a member, you get the money back at the end of the year as well. I got mine for < $300 and I saw a recent promotion where they were cheaper.

Has anybody used any of the trainers from Tacx? Are they a reliable company? I've been looking at the Tacx satori trainer and it looks like a nice trainer, thanks for the input :)
