...I ran out of water on the bike today it was so hot. Mid 80's, I have not run in anything more than shorts all "winter" Just arm and toe warmers on the bike. So when you all get cold, just think of me down here still sweating in Texas. Haha

i have the same problem of running out of water here this time of year, but my problem is because my water is frozen if i ride outside... give me mid 80s any day.

Yeah I was confused 'cause I actually needed tights on my run this morning! I guess having a "storm" (rain for a few hours) cools things down :)

Wow, must be rough.

I'll have to remind myself how tough you guys have it as I spend two hours on the trainer this afternoon wondering when the ice is going to melt and when the rain will stop.

You cold-weather guys can crash on my couch whenever you want if you do my roommate's dishes (he has a problem with that). It was in the 80s today here, too.

The ice is a little annoying, but fresh cold winter air doesn't bother me as long as I have a hat and gloves. What bothers me about winter is that the sun comes up 15 min before I leave for work, and it sets 15 min after I get home.

Yeah, I'm with psychosyd! On my run this AM in 20 degree weather in and around a fresh 8 inches of snow, I had to swing back by the house to layer on my XC ski pants over my run tights because my a$$ really was freezing. But you know what, other than that I had a great 2 hours out running the hills at 9500+ feet....

why run if you've got all that snow?I'm jealous! I'd love to get some skiing in!

it snowed here in Portland today which was unusual; nothing stuck, which is NOT unusual. My run was great, I enjoyed 37deg weather with a light dusting of snow. It felt like holiday time!

A bit warm on the long run this morning. That's fine. I dont mind cold/ cool weather, either, as long as it isnt wet. I hate cold rain.

Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.

Ya, I'm with psychosyd too! The last several runs that I did - I had to shovel out first - then I could go for a run. Was 10 degrees with a 0 degree wind chill. Warming up to the mid 20's today.
