thanks Santa!!
You are not supposed to open up anything Santa drops off early until Christmas Day. :D
I am extremely jealous, good luck with the learning curve of training with power.
Naw I figure with a gift like that it would be more of an insult for it to sit around when we could be getting up to speed on how to use 'em!
Actually, Christmas is basically over for me now -- I had xmas with my family over Thanksgiving since I love to see them open their presents and didn't want to mail them and miss the family part of the gifts. Mike and I are just doing stockings this year actually on xmas (or near as we are flying to Canada xmas eve as the other present).
And thanks :)
VERY cool! I look forward to hearing how the training goes!
We are just doing stockings again this year-heading to Belize next Saturday and then Florida in January so that will be "christmas" for us. I do have to say though great things come in small packages. Lots of sparkly things can fit in a stocking :)
P.S I am jealous
Very chi-chi ! Good for you, Big K.

Well I hear my coach will make it all a just magical experience! :D
It's the sexxiness of these wheels! Who wouldn't be drawn to 'em!!!?!

He was early....

and dropped off our PowerTap wheels last night! So this morning Mike and I took them for a spin. My data-geek brain hurts. And I have tons to learn :) I'm really looking forward to learning how to make the most of this new tool in my training. I'm reading the Training and Racing with a Power Meter book now, and I'm sure Coach MarkyV will help me use it to make the most of my limited time in the next 2 years as grad school (part time, with full time work) starts in January!!
I plan to keep a learning curve type of blog or report as I go along, because I've heard so much about this journey and I haven't found too much info on just the getting started part.
Oh, and I will post the complete bike with wheel pic once the front wheels get dropped down the chimney -- going with black instead of the silver ones we had.
