I'm also signed up for the 8K.
I woke up feeling awful today. (respiratory inflammation)
Hoping I can cure myself before Sunday.
I'm not going to win any awards but I am hoping to post a PR.

I've been running a ton lately, this would be an excellent test of my progress. If I can't breathe it's going to be a tough go tho'.

I'll be there for the HM (I just ran the Marine Corps Marathon, so once is enough in a month). So far, the weather's looking good.

Sorry to hear it didn't work out for you.
I did pretty well. I ended up finishing the half with a time of 1:26:31 - taking a solid PR along with it. The weather held up pretty well with just a light misting/sprinkling to keep things cool.

Nice job. My race report wouldn't have been nearly as exciting. Ha!
I've finally turned the corner on this cold. I've been workout free for a week and can't wait to get back at it. I may wait until Wednesday just to make sure it's really out of me.
There will be other races, I should be faster then anyhow :-)
