Basically you are headed northeast from tempe town lake.. you'll be using the beeline highway to head north through phoenix. You will be in the city or on the edge of it until after you hit alma school, then you'll mostly headed east.
Hope that helps a bit. wouldn't hurt to check out a map of phoenix, but this at least gives you an idea of where you are headed.

FAST is how I interpret it!!!! On the bike - it's basically flat, or a very slight up/down until you turn off the beeline highway. The fountain hills part is just that - hills. I don't know all those specific streets, but we ride in that area sometimes. Plan on getting out of the saddle a couple times. But, that won't be a bad thing at that point and will break it up a little. I'm not as familiar with the streets on the run. It sounds like a lot of side streets involved. Right between Mill and College is a hill that's included in the Tempe Olympic Tri every year. It's a hill, but not horrible. It sounds like a few up and downs on the access ramps, etc. I think this course will make everyone happy. Hope that helps a little...

Well, the weather is pretty unpredictable then. I would plan on it getting pretty hot by the end of the day. There should be very, very little humidity, but it can get warm. It's right on the fringe of when it starts to get hot. Best guess - perfectly clear skies and about 80-90 degrees. plus or minus 10 degrees. No wind to speak of. Doesn't sound like I'm much help, huh?!?

Dry, though, at least... I thought about IM Florida but man, humidity! I suspect I'd die.
