The Steamboat Springs Triathlon was the hit new Olympic Distance last season (1.5k Swim, 40k Bike, 10k Run) and is the 3rd stop on the Colorado Triathlon Tour! This course and venue are a dream come true and offer everything you could want as a first time triathlete or experienced veteran. For 2012 the Steamboat Triathlon has been named the USA Triathlon Regional Championships!

The 1.5k swim starts off in the picturesque Lake Catamount. Triathletes will then quickly transition to the 40k bike course with amazing views of the Yampa Valley and River! The 10k run course hugs Lake Catamount for a flat and fast route which finishes back at the Lake! Hang out post race in the grassy lawns and enjoy great prizes, raffles, awards, and food from our local sponsors of Steamboat! Race is capped at 600 participants, please join us for one of Colorado's most intimate destination events!
