Brief Description:
The Core Aquathlon is a unique multisport event consisting of multiple beach runs and ocean swims from the Santa Cruz Wharf to Capitola Beach. The course is about 5 miles, of which 1 mile is swimming. The event is scheduled each year to coincide with low tide and most competitors tackle the event in a bathing suit and a pair of goggles.

The event benefits THE CORE, a local non-profit, which facilitates positive experiences for Santa Cruz youth - concerts, dances, surf contests etc.- all initiated by the kids themselves!

Fees:
$25 until July 16th, $35 after, $40 day of
