Type: Olympic

The HOT is held at the beautiful Camp Blanding Military Reservation, which is about 30 miles Southwest of Jacksonville. The swim will be in Kingsley lake which is one of the state's pristine waterways (i.e no salt water and no sharks!) and usually very smooth for a fast race. The bike course will be entirely within Camp Blanding with little if any traffic, but with a few rolly-polly hills (two loops). The run will be a flat out and back (with little shade) but with plenty of aid stations to quench your over heated parched thirst. We have an awesome post-race party planned for you with plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to re-hydrate you and lots of good food to refuel you.
