The sprint triathlon race is a 400 m swim in the quarry, a 14.7 mile bike through scenic prairies and the 4 mile run is on the mostly shaded Fox River Trail. The Duathlon has both runs on the Fox River Trail and shares the same bike course with the triathletes.
Post race party has free pizza and beer and a great raffle, which all athletes are entered into free of charge. Raffle prizes include a Trek Bike, Bike Computers, Heart Rate Monitors, and more!
