Last weekend I did my first tri. I did it with my 4 sisters at the Seattle Danskin. We all signed up for this 2 years ago and 3 of us bailed out in fear. This year we all did it and finished in 2 hours and 35 minutes. It wasn't about the time, it was about finishing, TOGETHER. It was a blast. Three of us were newbies and had trained with Kitsap Tri-babes.

 

This weekend I went back to my home town for a funeral. One of my good friend's father passed away. I have never dealt well with many things, but death is at the top of the list. I had already planned on taking my bike and pondering things on some of the hilly roads around where I grew up.

After 3 days and 317 miles, our first bike trip is completed!
