Race was put together by 40 some people who worked together as a great team. Even thought this is their first year, they are doing great. I can't wait for this years tri! Release the Animal within! <there slogan>

tropps and tri hawks

A very well supported and well run, brutally tough and hilly triathlon. My only complaint was occassional gravel on the road at turns. Not for the faint of heart...or hill haters...alot of trail running also, which I personally liked. Beautiful venue...I intend to put it on my regular to do list.

Excellent race

Pros: great support, well organized
Cons: tough bike course, not enough water and no gatorade
for this being their second year I thought this was a great race. The bike split was very hilly, but was still fun. It had rained right before the race so there were a lot of crashes, but nothing they could have done about it.
