scenic mountain (grueling mountain) 5 out of 5 stars

This USAT sponsored event is the best organized and most beautiful events I have ever attended. The folks in Richwood have been holding this race for 20 years now and 20 more would be too soon for them to stop. I highly recommend this race to everyone.

The event is held entirely within the beautiful Monongahela National Forest which contains the grueling Kennison Mountain (on the bike portion). Bring family and friends to this friendly little community and enjoy the pasta dinner on Saturday night and the cookout one Sunday (race day). Oh, and they give out lots of prizes.
