The coolest people I know 3 out of 5 stars

Reviewed by: Linda, Mon Dec 31 2002

I was a rookie tri-athlete last year, and this club has helped me so much! I've competed in 5 triathlons from Aug to Nov last year and is hooked to this sport forever! I credit all this to the club. The people were so helpful and supportive, I could go to group trainings without feeling left out. The more advanced athletes are always helping and pushing me to get better and faster. The best part is, I always have a blast while doing it. I've met so many good friends and they are the best! Come to one of our workouts and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Dont Waste $$ 2 out of 5 stars

Reviewed by: Michelle, Mon Dec 31 2002

Some of the people were great, the slower the nicer. I was looking for fast folks to help push me and vice versa and what I found was the fast core group did not waste thier time with anyone but their own clique. I went to the meeting place time and time again to find the faster group did not bother to stop, sometimes they'd even ride by without a glance to the group assembling in the parking lot. As a newcomer it was tough to deal with, I brought a friend who was new and she got the shine too. Some of the people were great but the guy in charge is a coach who is just trying to make a buck. I'm usually pretty upbeat but this group paled in comparison to my new team.

Great People - Great Workout 5 out of 5 stars

Reviewed by: Steve Mackel, Mon Dec 31 2002

The new Pasadena Tri Club is last year’s Team Crucible. This club was brand new last year started by a group of seasoned ironmen. A year later this club has become the best local resource East of the 5 Freeway. They now have workouts for all levels at least four days a week. I work with many beginners and Pasadena Tri Club has been a fantastic resource for them. One person couldn’t swim one year ago and barley ride a bike. In 12 months she completed 6 triathlons and one was an Olympic distance. One year with this club improved all my splits but the best part of this club has been the new friends I have made. This club has great social events and the support at races and workouts are more than I expected. It was the best investment in my training last year. This club is perfect for fun people. Join us! :)
