Pros: The run is scenic and fast. Ample parking close the the race start

Cons: Way too many Rail Road crossings on the bike.

The run takes you along the river and over a very scenic bridge. Indeed the run is the best part of the race and you get to enjoy it twice. The bike course leaves much to be desired however. For a 22 miles course there are probably 5-8 Railroad crossings. Not only are these dangerous for bikers, but they often (believe it or not) have trains on them. That is exactly what happened this year. A train crossed the tracks and made 10 riders wait between 2-8 minutes (these riders were all top-20 finishers). So, the train ended the competitive race for many of us which is unfortunate.
