Pros: Well organized with sufficient volunteers. Can place high in age group since it is beginner heavy

Cons: Bike course has dozens of turns, time trial start, run course is all hill, door prizes based on your hollering out the answer to Team-Magic factoids

We walk a mile to the start. This race starts in a duck-poop nook of the lake. Run uphill 2-miles back to transition. The bike takes dozens of turns at intersections with cars everywhere. The second run is uphill and back. It is a time-trial start, so the competition factor is hugely diminished.
