USA Triathlon Sanctioned Event
1 Day event to support Newport High National Honor Society and Newport Swim Team. Free T-shirt for all participants. Visit www.newportswimteam.org for more details.
Swim Course
Adults: (13 years or older)
500 yards (20 laps in a 25 yard pool). Circle swim, with up to 4 people per lane.
Youth: (7 - 14 years)
(7-10): 100 yd. swim, (11-14): 150 yd. swim
Bike Course
Adult: 11 k on a hilly gravel and dirt road/trail through scenic woods and by reservoirs.
Youth: 1 mile on pavement
Run Course
Adult: 5k on a loop/out-&-back course on a paved/gravel road and gravel trail through scenic forest.
Youth: 1 mile around track
Distance Details
Adult: Swim 500 yards, Bike 11k, Run 5k
Youth: (7-10) Swim 100 yards, Bike 1 mile, Run 1/2 mile
(11-14) Swim 150 yards, Bike 1 mile, Run 1 mile
