Description
A 3-5 hour adventure race for COED teams of 3 in Columbia, SC. No, it's not a tri...but a LOT of adventure racers are former or current triathletes. This course is designed with the novice AR team in mind, with a limited field, and relatively easy navigation.
Swim Course
No swim. Paddle is flatwater in recreational canoes.
Bike Course
MTB course is mixed singletrack, firebreak, and virgin forest. Some sand on the course, and possibly some mud.
Run Course
Trail run course is mixed singletrack, firebreak, and virgin forest. Some sand on the course, and possibly some mud.
Distance Details
Total course distance will not exceed 22 miles. MTB no longer than 14 miles, trail run no longer than 5 miles, flatwater paddle no more than 4 miles, orienteering no longer than 3 miles. Actual course dustances and sequence of events announced 24 hours p
