Price Paid: $4978.00

Model Year: 2005

Pros: Lightweight, fast, GREAT looking, smooth pedaling

Cons: somewhat pricey but hey, for a machine like this you need to pay up

You should own this bike if you want to cut through the wind like a hot knife through butter. I rcvd mine 3 weeks ago and have been experiencing mostly windy days and still have been able to ride at my normal pace and even faster during low wind days.
The bike just feels right and very comfortable in the saddle and aero postions. Power transfer is awesome and I can't wait to get this mustang in the next tri.

Pros: Smooth rides, great power transfer, fit, very fast on flats, good cornerning.

Cons: High Price but it´s worth it

Before doing triathlons I was a bodybuilder therefore a heavier cyclist, I started with the QRoo Caliente and the ride was quite not very comfortable and terrible on climbs, nevertheless an excellent bike. For my first Ironman some experts recommended me to go full carbon, the change was very expensive (I had to convince my wife) but the difference was night and day. First of all they made several sizes so you will have the perfect fit. The frame is as they say "incredibly light" and carbon absorbs all road vibrations without sacrificing power transfer. I upgraded the fork, the aerobar and wheels to make it even faster and lighter eventhough it wasn´t necessary. On flat surface, the bike is incredibly fast and stable on turns. For a Tri bike, the climbs are above average. If you are going to spend the big bucks, go for full carbon and not titanium. Before buying the Lucero, I went through lots of studies and research on composite materials, strenght, yield and welding, believe me, there is nothing on the market that is light and safe than a bike on one piece of carbon...(ask tour riders if they will ride more than 180km on titanium).
Clever internal cable routing. Just for protection, I covered the chainstays with tape so the frame doesn´t get scratched with the chain. Final word.....buy itˇˇˇˇ
