Description
This is the first year of the Legacy Aquathon event! The Legacy Center offers a large full-featured facility for this event with an eight-lane 25 yard pool and an eighth-mile indoor lap track. Yes, you read that right - indoors! The Legacy Aquathon will be held completely inside the Legacy Center facility so there's no need to bring your winter coats to this event! Don't let the winter season stop you from getting some fun in!
Swim Course
Participants will line up near the pool by the locker rooms and will be started one at a time on 15 second intervals. The swim will proceed in a serpentine fashion 1 lap in each lane of the pool, then crossing under the lane to the next until all 8 lanes have been completed.
Run Course
Run will be on the Legacy Facility's indoor track. Run will start on the outside 2 lanes (lanes 3 and 4) and run their first 13 laps, and then migrate to the inside lanes 1 and 2 for the last 12 laps. The participant will complete 25 laps on the track.
