LAKE TAHOE TRIATHLON - The race will take place at Kings beach on the North shore of Lake Tahoe on Saturday, September 16, 2006 This Olympic distance tri consists of a 1.5K swim, 40K bike and 10K run. Racers will swim in the brilliant blue waters of Lake Tahoe off the shores of Kings Beach. The bike course is an out and back - up a steep climb to Brockway Summit (elevation 7179’), through the flats of Martis Valley with the turnaround in the town of Truckee. The run course is a mix of road, trail and sand with runners crossing the finish line on the beach. For more information: www.laketahoetriathlon.com.
